Playlist Magazine to Distribute Free Copies of Inaugural Issue to First One Hundred Attendees at the Miami Beach iPod Garage Party

August 29, 2004 -- According to Mac Publishing, LLC, the publishers of Playlist, the inaugural issue will focus on "digital music technology, the digital lifestyle, and music artists. Playlist is designed for everyone from the novice music consumer and fan to the digital-entertainment professional." Content will include "tech-oriented articles, interviews with cutting-edge music artists,and of course, plenty of playlists from musicians and music fans alike."
The iPod Garage is pleased to partner with Playlist in order to help put this historic inaugural issue in the hands of iPod Garage readers. According to iPod Garage Founder Bill Palmer, "I've been reading MacWorld Magazine since I was a teenager, so I can't wait to see what Mac Publishing has up its sleeve with Playlist. The iPod Garage is obviously a big fan of the iPod, iTunes, and music in general, so we're excited about the opportunity to help bring this exciting new resource to the iPod Garage community."
Other free prizes being given out during the event will include an iPod mini, a pair of Shure noise-cancelling earphones, and several other enticing iPod-related products.
Doors will open at 5:00 pm for the iPod Garage Party, and the event wull run until 11:00 pm. It is strongly recommended that attendees arrive as early as possible in order to ensure that they receive their complimentary copy of Playlist.
